Cybersecurity Innovation Hub initiated the conclusion of the Memorandum on Central European EDIH Cooperation

Long-term and systematic cooperation of the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) resulted in the conclusion of a Memorandum of Cooperation between Central European EDIHs. This document formally brings together 25 centres from five countries - the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Poland and Slovakia - which commit to coordinated cooperation at international level.

12 May 2025

The Memorandum on Central European EDIH Cooperation was signed on 1 May 2025 in several cities across Central Europe, including Brno, Vienna, Krakow and Bratislava. “The Cybersecurity Innovation Hub is based in the very heart of Central Europe, and since we have been working very closely together in the Czech EDIH network since the start of our projects, and have also run a five-part EDIH Twister - a series of joint introductory bilateral meetings with EDIHs from other countries, it was only natural for us to initiate the conclusion of the Central European EDIH Memorandum,” says CIH Chief Coordinator Tereza Šamanová.

“Through a single document, we have connected 25 European Digital Innovation Hubs from the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Austria and Slovakia and their nearly 200 partners, with whom we are already collaborating on joint activities and would like to further deepen our cooperation in the future.”
