How can you recognize the manipulative techniques of cybercriminals and how can you resist them? Jiří Sedláček will explore this very topic in a seminar at the Cybersecurity Academy on Wednesday, February 28, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Cyberattackers have long since moved beyond simply breaching technical barriers. The weakest link in the system is, in fact, the human factor—and not just ordinary employees, but even the owners of companies and corporations themselves. Social engineering and manipulative techniques are thus a frequent choice, not only because of their low cost. At the seminar, you will gain an overview of social engineering techniques, learn how to defend yourself, avoid falling for scams, and ensure the security of your company and its information.

Social engineering is a term used to describe a type of cyberattack in which an attacker uses psychological manipulation or deception to obtain confidential information or coerce individuals into taking specific actions. One of the most common social engineering techniques is phishing, in which an attacker attempts to obtain sensitive information (such as passwords or online banking login credentials), often through fraudulent emails.

This event is primarily intended for managers of small and medium-sized businesses, public sector executives, and mayors of cities and municipalities. Please join us if you are interested in the topic or would like to expand your current knowledge. Participation is free of charge.
