The programme also provided an opportunity for ACDRC to present its results to representatives of the Czech semiconductor industry and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The meeting took place at Thermo Fisher Scientific Brno, which also hosted tours of its electron-microscope production facilities. Approximately one third of the world’s electron microscopes are produced in Brno.
Representing the Advanced Chip Design and Research Center (ACDRC) were Director Jiří Háze, Prof. Jiří Jakovenko and Prof. Tomáš Pitner.
All three also serve as members of the CNSC Board. Their involvement creates a direct connection between ACDRC and the Czech semiconductor ecosystem, including its key industrial and academic partners.
During the meeting, ACDRC’s results and activities were presented to CNSC members, particularly representatives of semiconductor companies, as well as to Radan Kubant from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.
The meeting therefore provided an opportunity to present ACDRC’s work directly to the professional community and institutions involved in the development of the Czech semiconductor sector.
CNSC brings together key competences across the semiconductor value chain – from design and IP through materials, manufacturing and equipment to testing and applications.

The next steps for CNSC include IPCEI AST, with a 31 October deadline, SEMICON Europa, Enlit Vienna, and further expansion of its cooperation network with European ecosystems and ENCCCs.
The Annual Meeting provided an important opportunity not only to discuss the future direction of CNSC, but also for ACDRC to present its results directly to key partners within the Czech semiconductor ecosystem.

The two-day program offered a diverse overview of this rapidly evolving field, which is having a profound impact on the future of modern technology.
Dozens of participants discovered the future of biochips and biomedical chip technologies at a unique international event held in Brno and online from October 21 to 23, 2025. The program brought together researchers from Taiwan, Korea, Japan, and the Czech Republic, who shared the latest advances in diagnostics, wearable electronics, microfluidics, and biochip applications.
